- Benefits of using CBD
- Best CBD product
- What to look for when choosing a CBD Oil
CBD products are all the craze! Everyone is using them; my mom, my friends, me but we all seem to be using different products. There are so many CBD products; edibles, gummies, oils, topicals, bath bombs, drinks, flower – I’ve even seen things as crazy as CBD candles and pillows, the list can go on. So much so that it’s honestly hard to decide what CBD is the best. As someone in the industry, even I agree it can be overwhelming at times to decide what is the best CBD product for pain, anxiety, PTSD, sleep – what one product truly has the best results.
Benefits of using CBD
First, let’s talk about the benefits of using CBD. Cannabis as a whole, is a powerful plant that has been used for centuries. From ancient Chinese medicine all the way to modern day Holistic Health practitioners it is undeniable the profound healing effects this plant has on our body. But, let’s look at CBD specifically.
One of CBD’s most powerful healing properties is it’s uncanny ability to fight inflammation. For decades doctors and medical researchers have found that disease and illness most always start with some type of inflammation, whether it be at the cellular level, muscle, or organ – inflammation is usually your bodies first response to discomfort as it prepares to fight. Reducing inflammation is a sure way to maintain your health and overall well-being.
Secondly, CBD has shown great success in regards to reducing anxiety, stress, boosting your mood, and promoting overall mental clarity. CBD has been known to provide relief for those battling; Depression, Mood Swings, and PTSD. But, it should be no surprise to hear that your mental health is just as important as your physical health. What we put into our body is important, from the food we eat to the media we consume – it all plays a role in our well-being. If you don’t feel good mentally, it will overflow into your physical health.
CBD also has a profound effect on your skin, the largest organ within your body, working day in and day out to protect you. Which brings us back to the inflammation piece as well as expands on it. Most CBD users have found success when battling; Eczema, Psoriasis, Acne, as well as other skin conditions like rashes, hives, itchiness, and redness.
Muscle spasms, chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, CBD is a powerhouse! The list could go on, but the question still stands – What CBD product is the best? What one product can someone use to receive these benefits?
Best CBD Product
Studies have shown CBD oil, also known as tinctures, to have the greatest impact on our health. CBD oil is best for pain, anxiety, and chronic illnesses because of it’s ability to enter our bloodstream quickly and provide long-lasting relief. The science supporting this ties back to application and consistency. CBD oil works best when used sublingually, under the tongue. When applied this way, the CBD oil is dripped onto your sublingual gland and absorbed quickly into your bloodstream. This method of consumption provides the best results because the CBD enters directly into your bloodstream, skipping your digestive tract altogether, providing the user relief in as little as 15 minutes.
Secondly, this method has proven to have one of the highest bioavailability’s, upwards of 35%. But, what exactly does this mean? Bioavailability is the absorption of a dose that your body consumes that actually reaches your bloodstream as the unchanged drug. Bioavailability can differ greatly depending on the consumption method, with intravenous application being the only method with 100% bioavailability. However, intravenous can be tricky and is usually not preferred. Your sublingual gland, is a great second as it is easy, painless, and safe.
In regards to your skin, personally I have had great success dripping just a few drops of our 2500mg oil directly onto the affected area. Throughout my entire life I have battled with eczema, and have been prescribed numerous different steroid creams, however none have worked as efficiently and quickly as CBD oil. Transitioning from fall to winter is when I experience the worst flare ups, including redness and itchiness, causing my skin to eventually flake and peel. During these flare ups, I apply just a few drops directly onto my skin, 2xs per day and my symptoms clear up in literally hours – within two days most all redness, itchiness, and peeling has subsided.
This universal use of CBD oil + utilization of the sublingual gland makes CBD oil the best product. It is the only product that allows users to tap into most all of its benefits, quickly and efficiently.
What to look for when choosing a CBD Oil
When choosing your CBD oil it is important to lookout for a few different things to ensure you are getting a quality product. I always recommend a full spectrum oil because it contains most all therapeutic components of the plant; cannabinoids, terpenes, fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins. Choosing a full spectrum oil over a broad spectrum or isolate will allow the user to tap into the entourage effect, meaning the user will have access to the plant’s full benefits. When choosing your full spectrum oil, it is always best to choose one that is;
- Produced from high quality, NON GMO Hemp
- Hemp grown with organic, all-natural practices
- USA made
- No preservatives, flavors, or sweeteners
- ALWAYS 3rd party lab tested
It is important to keep your full spectrum CBD oil as natural as possible without adding any extra nonsense like flavors or sweeteners. Those chemicals take away from the product’s all natural healing ability and require extra work on your body to metabolize. A quality product will always meet these standards, and a quality brand will always be willing to walk you through their process, providing lab results and transparency as you embark on your CBD journey.
